Chef Luisa Fernandes returned to Portugal after working at the prestigious “Robert” Restaurant in New York to open restaurant Peixe na Avenida, in Lisbon. With a menu of dishes exclusively prepared with wild fish from the Portuguese coast, Luisinha, the affectionate name of the Chef, had the lead role in a public relations programme that made her known to the Portuguese public. She received at her “house” a group of journalists to taste the dishes that were on the menu and participated in several television programmes where she shared her life story and unveiled several of her recipes.

The coverage gave an excellent visibility to the venue and introduced chef Luisinha to the Portuguese market, sharing her skills and creative ability.
